Webmontag #63: Frontend Dev.

by   •

Time’s running fast, spring’s not about to come anymore – hopefully, it’s about to stay. Doing our best for making it a great evening, we’re currently planning April’s Webmontag.

This time, besides our speakers and the awesome people you can get to know, we will also be able to offer free beer for all of you – thanks to our sponsor, the 1996-founded online marketplace for vehicles.

The first speaker that evening will be Lea Verou who makes tools and libraries for developers. She’s known as a speaker at web development conferences and as a writer for leading industry publications. She’ll talk about CSS in the 4th Dimension: Not your daddy’s CSS animations. In this talk we will not only hear about the basics of the new specifications of CSS3, tips and tricks, but she’ll also give us live code examples.

The second Speaker is Horia Dragomir, UI Developer at Wooga.

With Leas and Horias Keynote we’re expecting a lot of people to come next monday. So this time, to assure a seat for everybody, you need to register (see below).

Webmontag Berlin #62 – C2C: connecting people

by   •

Spring’s coming, and it’s time for the next Berlin Webmontag!

Our topic will be C2C (customer-to-customer or citizen-to-citizen) – from people for people. C2C not only includes platforms where you can sell your old stuff to someone who needs it, but also platforms for selling beautiful handcrafted things, letting your flat or selling your car. – It’s about connecting people.

This time we’re proud to present Gidsy‘s CEO & Co-Founder Edial Dekker talking about redistributing resources, collaborative consumption and why we need to start building meaningful technology. On you can book activities organized by real people. They’ve been on the news some weeks ago (remember the Ashton Kutcher-story?) .

Later on, Stefan Froehner will talk about “wikipost – The Internet Mall. Social Network For Local Business.”

We’re looking forward to hearing about what Edial and Stefan can tell us about their concept and their aims. If you’d like to present your C2C-business, feel free to send us a message.
